These are pictures of "Staple City" that we made and took pictures of. We also got different color lights to shine at the buildings to make it look even more satisfying.

During long block my class and I went into the art room. We set up a projector facing a white wall and started to project random backgrounds for us to take pictures of a person and thier shadow.
For Halloween as a class we all created a book cover that was suppose to be spooky. My book cover has a show and some splatter paint that makes it look like it's blood. I uploaded the picture to Photoshop and shaded the border of the picture with black to make it more spooky.
This week in class we played around on Photoshop. We made a hamburger on there, and learned how to do color splash. Also, we learned how to double an image to make it look like it's reflecting from one side.
My group and I all went outside to take these photos for the Lizard Challenge. We took six photos of the lizard in different locations around the school.
I don't think that photography will become a lost art because now we have social media. People often share their photos on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Vsco, and many more mobil apps. I feel like the social media world will grow much bigger in the future. Also these photographs that we take are memories to us. My favorite photograph is probably of me and other kids that I grew up with in my backyard. My backyard was the place where all the kids who lived on my street at the time would come over and play baseball, football, basketball, go sledding, and swimming. All of us would stay outside until it was really dark out.The photograph shows the baseball bats in the background with the baseball in the middle of the yard. Different Genres of Photography: Landscape Portraiture Sport Food Photojournalism Wildlife Fashion Candid Aerial I would like to explore portraiture photography because I was always more interested in that than all the other types of photography. Darkness is the canvas and light is the brush. We left the shutter open to capture these images.
Elements and principals of design interact with each other so the photo can come out the way you like it. Both of them work together to finish up the photographs. Elements is the shapes in the photo, and principal of design is balance and form. It's not easy to show only one element and principal of design in a single photograph because there are usually more than one element and principal of design in every photo.
Elements: Line, Shape, Form, Color, Texture, and Space. Principals: Movement, Pattern, Rhythm, Balance, Emphasis, Proportion,Contrast, and Variety. |
